U Varešu je 28.4. otvoren Turist info centar u objektu "Bosanske kuće". Svečanosti su prisustvovali ministar prostornog uređenja FBiH Josip Martić,ministrica kulture i sporta Federacije BiH Zora Dujmović, predstavnici njemačke organizacije HELP, organizacije za ruralni turizam Alterural, članovi KES Perun Va te predstavnici Fondacije za obnovu i razvoj regije Vareš. Kao gosti program su pratili profesori sa sveučilišta u Zadru, Mario Katić i Danijela Birt Katić, studentica Dora Palajsa, koji se već treću godinu bave etnološkim istraživanjima u Varešu i Jasmin Bešić,naš Varešanin, vlasnik turističke agencije u Nizozemskoj.
U općinskoj Sali je održan sastanak gdje je goste pozdravio načelnik Zdravko Marošević, a o trenutnom stanju i aktivnostima u oblasti turizma govorio je Boško Andrić. Poslije sastanka i izjava za medije, gosti su se uputili i obišli novootvoreni Turist info centar.
Uslijedio je obilazak Apartmana baba Luce na Strici, obilazak pogona za proizvodnju jaja, tjestenine i sira kod Mladena Franjića i Josipa Babića na Zarudju, te ručak u domu koji su pripremile žene sa Strice i Zarudja.
